Is your ego too big for you to handle anymore?  Do you have a driving need to show the world just how clever you are?  Are you still living in your mother’s basement with nothing but the soft glow of monitors and the purring of the three rigs you built from scratch to keep you company?  Then have I got a proposition for you!

We’re looking for a few good writers here, and when I say “good”, I mean can type in complete sentences and knows generally how punctuation works.  Seriously, this blog is all about the art of the code – that clever hack that made the impossible possible, that library you wrote that one time that can replace thousands of lines of code, or just new ways of doing things that all the PhD’s at Google just haven’t seem to come up with yet.   We are looking to fill this blog with posts that people want to read because they will always learn something.

Since people like lists, here’s a list of the requirements:

  • Have a sense of humour.
  • Posts can be on any language or framework, any version thereof
  • Posts must fully explain what is being done, or be so “Intuitively Obvious To The Most Casual Observer” that no explanation is needed.
  • You must not be a member of any current ‘net holy war (vi vs emacs, gnome vs KDE, Microsoft vs everything)

That’s about it. If you are interested, send a note to mytechhell@gmail.com and we can talk from there.
